Already in 2017, at Badelement, we shifted our production to exclusively produce bathroom pods that can be included in certified sustainable construction – without increasing the price – it’s standard.
We have also – more than a year in advance – documented that our bathroom pods meet the 2023 requirements for construction with a maximum of 12 kg CO2 per m². In fact, we stay well below the limit.
Within the environmental aspect of sustainable construction, the main focus is on resource consumption and energy efficiency. With our prefabricated service shafts, resource consumption is significantly streamlined by purchasing only the number of materials needed according to the shaft’s 3D model and BOM (Bill Of Material) list.
With our prefabricated service shaft solutions, we help to ensure significant savings on energy and heat during the drying-out phase of construction. The same day the service shafts are installed and the shell is closed, the affordable, permanent heat can be commissioned, eliminating the need for temporary, expensive heat sources (such as electric heat, gas or oil boilers) to dry out the building.
